To provide daily learning experiences appropriate to the developmental level of your child, which will fulfill his/her basic individual needs (spiritual, emotional, social, physical and intellectual). Three-year-olds are introduced to the alphabet, numbers, colors, and shapes primarily through visual, auditory, kinesthetic, and some written mediums.
Four-year-olds are directed toward kindergarten readiness through written, visual, auditory, and kinesthetic mediums.
Rhyming, initial letter sounds, syllable and sentence segmenting are emphasized to develop phonological awareness.
Preschool:
To develop your child's reading skills in the areas of phonological awareness, comprehension, and literature.
To develop your child's math skills in numbers and computation, algebra, geometry, and data analysis.
To develop your child's knowledge in science and social studies using the state standards as a guideline.
